Why Do My Feet, Ankle or Legs Hurt?

Usually foot, ankle or leg pain is from repetitive recurrent injuries such as: plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and bursitis or from traumatic injuries like a fracture or ankle sprain.

Foot, ankle and leg pain, numbness or tingling can also be a result of diseases including arthritis, varicose veins, gout, diabetes, poor circulation, and other degenerative diseases including peripheral vascular disease (PVD), peripheral arterial disease (PAD).

Fungal infections of the feet and toes can often cause pain, cracking, burning and itching.

Poorly fiited or worn-out shoes and even heredity can cause many foot, ankle and leg problems such as edema (swelling), bunions, corns, calluses, and chronic ingrown toenails.

Many of these problems can be managed, or at least the pain associated with them minimized, using over-the-counter and/or cost-effective prescription products, including custom-made orthotics.

At Fit Feet For Life, we can help you with all of these issues…and more!
